Everyone at work knew I loved cats. So somebody was always trying to pawn off a stray, unwanted cat on me. A nurse I worked with had a litter of Siamese kittens and would ask me everyday if I wanted to buy one. The answer was always “No!” I have enough cats. Well, she came to me one day and said she had a one eyed kitten that wasn’t going to make it and she was going to put her down! Of course I couldn’t let that happen so needless to say she was delivered to me the next day. Shelly has only one eye and a hairlip but she is the cutest cat I’ve had! She is now 6 yrs old and the ruler of the house and our hearts! I wouldn’t trade her for the world! |
